Workplace Drugs and Alcohol Training

There isn’t a section of today’s society which is not affected by drug use and problematic use of alcohol, which includes the institutions and the business community. The increasingly widespread availability of alcohol and illegal drugs can lead to experimental, recreational and dependent use, studies report that 75% of alcohol dependents are also in employment.

Lost productivity; absenteeism; errors and accidents; reduction of creativity, competence and judgement are some of the acknowledged negative impacts of substance use on businesses. Employees who misuse substances in the work place often put others around them at risk as well. This makes it imperative that employees are educated in the consequences of substance misuse.

HAGAM is committed to making a difference by sharing the expertise it has built up since 1985 in the substance misuse field. To this end, we develop and deliver a wide range of bespoke specialist drug and alcohol training for organisations ranging from schools to large businesses.
